Situated at Cardiff Gate Business Park, Regus is ideally positioned at the gateway to Cardiff just off Junction 30 of the M4.

Commencing in 2020, Enertech undertook a replacement of the existing mechanical services with new energy-efficient equipment.

Overseen by Enertech’s project manager, Chad McCabe, there was a successful replacement of the fan coil units, secondary ductwork and internal grilles to suit a new CAT A layout suitable for new incoming tenants. All main ductwork/pipework infrastructure were able to be retained and re-used thus minimising wastage.

• Enertech’s design team carried out a full thermal model using TAS software
• 53 new four-pipe fan coil units from Ability’s ‘Evo’ range were installed
• The existing boiler plant was replaced with a new high-efficiency gas-fired boiler plant sized to suit the heating demands within the building
• New Carrier AquaSnap air-cooled chiller and the associated plant were all connected to existing chilled water distribution pipework.
