How we work


First contacts are generally made by the sales team. The team have extensive and extended experience within the industry having worked through design and contracting.

Our team take care to apply their experience to ensure that all new business enquiries, whether from new sources or existing are carefully managed to ensure that deadlines are met, whilst providing clear and concise documentation as to the scope of works and specification required.

The sales team extend their services past initial contact overlapping with design often present through extended development stages and into contract.

The team will offer well formed opinions to allow the client to benefit from extended experience but never force those opinions should the client have a preferred option.


The design department has both extensive qualifications and considerable experience. Our dedicated team of engineers and support staff (CAD technicians) deliver thorough design solutions in a timely fashion and in full compliance with current legislation.

A number of the design team are registered with BRE to carry out and certificate CO2 emission calculations as required under Part L of the building regulations.

The team have acquired certification to allow calculation and certification of the EPC (energy performance certificate), which is a further requirement under building regulations where premises have changed hands, been let or have had extensive works completed.

The team utilise the latest versions of Hevacomp and Autocad to prepare and demonstrate their designs and are able to extend their knowledge and utilisation of this software to prepare SBEMs calculations if required.

TAS 3D ModellerWe have invested in TAS Software to assist our design team.  This dynamic thermal modelling software is split into 3 main programs :-

  • 3D Modelling
  • Building simulator
  • Results viewer

3D modelling allows the engineers to create building models for simulation and for drawing buildings that are still only at rough outline sketch. Calculations can also be made of the sunshine penetration through the interior of the buildings between spaces.

Building Simulator — Automatic calculations can be made of the potential airflow network through the building by using the altitude and orientation of each window, door, ventilator
or other aperture. This means that natural ventilation is simulated automatically, and we are able to choose which apertures are open, when, and by how much.

Within the software we are able to allocate construction materials, glazing types and also the occupancy of the building from its database, which when added to the model is automatically calculated.


Following the conception of the scheme by our sales team and preparation by our design team, our highly experienced Contract Managers, will ensure that a stress free delivery is provided.

Fully trained in the latest regulations appertaining to working on site, this team of dedicated engineers work with an ethos of adaptability to ensure that as projects evolve, unforeseen
circumstances are encompassed with the minimum effect on delivery.

A key to successful delivery of any project is competent commissioning and handover, our engineers strive to establish strong ongoing relationships with clients to ensure that optimum performance of systems post handover is maintained.
